DESCRIPTION

The CWT-3809 is a controlled soldering device designed for terminating a bare or tin-plated copper shield on a cable. It features a heat-shrinkable, radiation cross-linked modified polyolefin insulation sleeve, a solder preform with flux, and thermally stabilized thermoplastic meltable rings. This specific model has a maximum length of 42.0 mm and accommodates a maximum cable diameter of 8.7 mm. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for applications requiring robust and reliable shield termination on cables with insulation rated for at least +85°C.
