DESCRIPTION

The M85049/88-19N03 is a straight, self-locking band lock adaptor designed for terminating cable shields for size 19 connectors. It features a maximum 'A' diameter of 1.52 inches and accommodates a maximum cable entry ('G' diameter) of 1.02 inches, corresponding to its '03' entry size code. The adaptor uses a tempered band, tightened with special tools, to secure the cable shield over the banding area. This termination method provides a low DC resistance connection suitable for demanding applications where robust and reliable shielding is critical, and can be environmentally sealed using a heat shrink boot.
