DESCRIPTION
GS100201 is a Hall Effect gear tooth speed sensor designed for ferrous edge detection and near-zero speed sensing without power-up recognition. It features a current sinking output that requires an external pull-up resistor, with an M18-1 Class 6g thread and M12-1 circular connector for robust industrial integration. The sensor operates across a wide voltage range of 5–24 VDC with a maximum supply current of 6 mA, output saturation voltage of 400 mV, and output current capability of 20 mA, while maintaining immunity to rotational alignment and ESD protection up to 4 kV direct contact. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and fast output switching times (5 µs rise and fall times), it is well-suited for CNC machine tools, transmission speed monitoring, and industrial feedback control systems where reliable speed detection is critical.
