DESCRIPTION

The AP12-1-72F-502 is a two-pole, fully sealed magnetic circuit protector designed for reliable overcurrent protection. This series trip protector has a nominal current rating of 5.000 amperes and is suitable for use in DC, 50/60Hz, and 400Hz circuits. It features a long time delay with a 135% trip point and includes an inertial delay for improved tolerance to inrush pulses. The unit is constructed as a two-pole device with hook terminals, mounted via a 3/8" threaded bushing and two 6-32 threaded inserts. Like all AP series protectors, it provides a trip-free action, ensuring the circuit opens during an overload even if the handle is held ON. Typical applications include communication systems, aircraft instrumentation, radar, and power supplies.
