DESCRIPTION

The 104068-5 is a System 50 double-row vertical thru-hole header connector designed for board-to-board interconnections in computer and personal systems applications. This shrouded header features 50 contact positions arranged on 0.050 x 0.100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) centers, providing high-density connectivity with reliable mating. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material rated 94V-0 with contacts made from copper alloy plated with a minimum of 0.00033 inches (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating area and 0.000150 inches (0.00381 mm) tin-lead on solder posts, with nickel underplating for enhanced durability. The connector includes standoffs for ease of cleaning and is designed to withstand high-temperature environments, making it suitable for demanding industrial and computer applications requiring robust board-level interconnection.
