DESCRIPTION

104482-4 is a Short Point receptacle housing from the AMPMODU Mod IV interconnection system, configured for 10 positions with 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing. The housing features an outrigger design with end-to-end stackability on 0.100 inch centers and is constructed from black, glass-filled thermoplastic rated 94V-0 for flame retardancy. It accommodates dual cantilever contact beams with a locking retention latch providing approximately 3 lb (13.34 N) of retention force, and mates with 0.025 inch (0.64 mm) square posts. The housing dimensions are 0.498 inches (12.65 mm) in length (A) and 0.400 inches (10.16 mm) in width (B), with a profile height of 0.600 inches (15.24 mm). This receptacle assembly is commonly used in wire-to-board applications requiring reliable, stackable interconnections in compact spaces, and is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (File No. E28476) and certified by Canadian Standards Association (File No. LR7189).
