DESCRIPTION

1-106527-2 is a 2-position AMP Soft Shell Pin and Socket Connector header designed for reliable wire-to-board connections in computer, peripheral equipment, and commercial applications. The connector features a 0.163 inch (4.14 mm) centerline spacing and is constructed from UL 94V-2 natural nylon material, providing robust mechanical and electrical performance. It accommodates wire sizes from 26–18 AWG with insulation diameters of 0.050–0.115 inches (1.27–2.92 mm), and delivers a low termination resistance of 20 milliohms maximum between mated contacts. The connector is rated for 600 V AC or DC operation with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1.5 KVAC between adjacent circuits, contact retention of 8 lb minimum per contact, and durability of 20 mating/unmating cycles. This product is ideal for applications requiring economical, reliable multi-lead connections with worldwide approval and RoHS compliance.
