DESCRIPTION

1-1658620-0 is a 50-position preassembled ribbon cable receptacle connector designed for .050" [1.27 mm] centerline ribbon cable interconnect applications. The connector features duplex gold or gold flash plating over palladium-nickel on the mating surfaces, with a total plating thickness of .000015 [0.00038] inches minimum, and tin plating on the termination end with nickel underplate. Dimensionally, the connector measures 2.450 inches (62.23 mm) in length (A), 2.680 inches (68.07 mm) in width (B), and 2.400 inches (60.96 mm) in height (C). The connector is compatible with strain relief part number 499252-4 and is available in standard packaging of 2500 connectors per 600 mm diameter reel, with an optional special packaging of 250 connectors per 250 mm diameter reel in a dedicated dispenser box. This connector is ideal for high-density ribbon cable interconnections in data acquisition, telecommunications, and industrial control systems where reliable signal transmission and mechanical durability are essential.
