DESCRIPTION

1-338096-1 is a crimp-on contact component for the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch connector system, specifically engineered for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. The contact is rated for 28-24 AWG wire sizes with an inner diameter (ID) of 0.76-1.00 mm and features tin-plated contact design that provides gas-tight connections and fretting corrosion resistance. The contact incorporates a positioning spring mechanism in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, preventing contact spot movement and maintaining connection integrity. These contacts are supplied on tape and are suitable for mass termination of ribbon cable, with availability in reel quantities of 15,000 or 750 pieces.
