DESCRIPTION

The 1367147-1 is a non-conductive dust plug designed for SFP+ single port cages to protect unused connector ports from dust and contamination. This plug is part of the SFP+ interconnect system that supports data rates of 10 Gb/s and meets the performance requirements of SFF (Small Form-Factor) specification SFF-8431. The dust plug provides a cost-effective solution for maintaining port integrity in storage, server, networking, and switch applications where SFP+ transceivers are deployed. By sealing empty cage ports, it helps maintain signal integrity and reduces the risk of debris-related connection failures in high-speed 10 Gb/s Ethernet and 8G Fibre Channel environments.
