DESCRIPTION

1452660-1 is a receptacle contact with locking lance (LL) for the MCON 1.2 mm interconnection system, engineered for high-reliability automotive electrical and electronic applications. The contact is manufactured from CuNiSi material with selective plating options (tin-silver, silver, or gold) and supports wire sizes from 1.0 to 1.5 mm². It delivers a current carrying capacity of up to 20 amperes at 20°C ambient temperature with a contact resistance of =2 mO in the new state. The contact operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C (depending on plating type) and withstands up to 100 mating cycles with gold plating. This contact is ideal for powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and body and chassis applications where vibration resistance and long-term reliability are critical requirements.
