DESCRIPTION

1-480284-0 is an 8-circuit dual-row wire-to-board power connector featuring a 5.0 mm contact centerline and positive lock mechanism, designed for power circuits in home appliances and gas appliances. The connector has a compact mated height of 19.4 mm and includes a socket housing with PM (Positive Lock) type and pin housing with MM (Male-Male) type contacts. The housing is constructed from UL94V-2 rated nylon in natural color with duplex plating finish, and accepts double wire applications where individual insulation diameters do not exceed 0.115 inches (2.92 mm). The connector features a double lock plate for complete contact loading, locking levers surrounded by protective walls to prevent wire tangling, and is designed to release bubbles created during potting processes. This connector is recognized under UL Component Program File No. E28476 and certified by Canadian Standards Association File No. LR7189, making it suitable for demanding industrial and appliance applications requiring reliable power distribution.
