DESCRIPTION

1658609-4 is a low profile all-plastic D-subminiature receptacle connector designed for round conductor flat ribbon cable applications. This HDF-22 series connector features a 9-position shell size 1 configuration with 4-40 threaded inserts for secure mounting. The connector utilizes a thermoplastic housing and cover rated 94V-0 for flame retardancy, with phosphor bronze contacts featuring duplex plating (.000030 min gold on mating end, .000100-.000200 bright tin on termination end with .000050 min nickel underplating). This RoHS compliant connector is ideal for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers and peripherals, and data storage systems where reliable D-subminiature interconnections are required.
