DESCRIPTION

166997-2 is a size 20 pin contact designed for crimp termination in electrical connector applications. Constructed from brass material, it features a 0.8µm nickel undercoating with 0.2µm selective gold plating and gold flash on the remainder. The contact accommodates wire sizes from 28 to 32 AWG (0.03–0.09 mm²) and insulation diameters ranging from 0.5 to 1.02 mm. Available in loose-piece form with black color coding, this contact is suitable for mini-applicator, standard applicator, and reel-feed handtool crimping methods, making it versatile for various assembly processes.
