DESCRIPTION

172732-2 is a vertical post header connector with kink designed for wire-to-board termination in TE Connectivity's Economy Interconnection Series (EIS). This connector features tin plating and supports 2 to 12 positions, providing a compact and economical solution for high-density wiring connections. The kink design offers improved mechanical stability and alignment during mating with standard crimp receptacles (171822, 172486) and low-profile crimp receptacles (172142). Operating at 250V with current ratings from 2A to 5A depending on wire gauge (30 AWG to 20 AWG), and temperature range of -20°C to 95°C, this connector is suitable for industrial machinery, factory automation, household appliances, motor vehicles, and consumer electronics applications.
