DESCRIPTION

1738965-1 is an ARINC 600 press-fit contact designed for PCB attachment, eliminating the need for soldering in aerospace, defense, and marine applications. The contact is manufactured from high-strength copper alloy base material with various plating options available. It features a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C, durability of 500 mating cycles, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500 VACrms at sea level. The press-fit design enables up to 10% weight savings and provides manufacturing cost savings by eliminating the PCB soldering process while maintaining backward compatibility with existing ARINC 600 systems.
