DESCRIPTION

177898-1 is a 2-position soft shell connector plug housing designed for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire applications with a 3.96 mm centerline spacing. The housing is manufactured from UL94V-0, 6/6 nylon material in natural color and features a Power Double Lock (PDL) connector design with integrated locking mechanisms for secure mating. The connector accommodates wire gauges from 26-22 AWG (0.12-0.35 mm²) and 22-20 AWG (0.30-0.53 mm²), with corresponding contact diameters of 0.93-1.50 mm and 1.40-1.80 mm respectively. This connector is RoHS compliant and is commonly used in automotive, industrial control, and telecommunications applications where reliable, compact interconnections are required.
