DESCRIPTION

179031-1 is a 0.8mm free height (FH) connector plug designed for board-to-board stacking applications in high-end computer, telecommunications, industrial, and military/aerospace systems. This plug features 40 contact positions with an 8mm stack height (8H) and is available with 8 microinch gold plating, offering reliable electrical connectivity and corrosion resistance. The connector incorporates polarized locating posts for proper alignment and is supplied in tube packaging with optional pickup cap. The product is RoHS compliant and is ideal for stacking applications where space efficiency and reliable interconnection are critical, particularly in test cards, card extenders, and high-density interconnect systems that mate with standard vertical receptacles.
