DESCRIPTION

1-963749-1 is a loose-piece contact component for the AMP MCP (Multiple Contact Point) 1.5K connector system, engineered for automotive electrical and electronic applications. This contact is designed to accommodate wire sizes in the range of 1.5–2.5 mm² with a maximum insulation diameter (FLR) of 3.0 mm, and is manufactured from CuNiSi material with pre-tin plating or selective silver plating options to ensure high current capacity and reliability. The contact features 3 redundant contact points (1.5 mm type) that provide high reliability for long-term use in demanding automotive environments, including powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and body and chassis applications. The product is supplied in loose-piece packaging with a quantity of 500 units per package, and is compatible with the hand tool 2063490-1 for installation, making it suitable for high-volume manufacturing and service applications where vibration resistance and consistent electrical performance are critical.
