DESCRIPTION

1-968976-9 is a 3-position AMP MCP 2.8 receptacle housing with secondary locking designed for automotive electronic and electrical applications. The housing is constructed from PA 66 GF13 material in black color and supports wire sizes up to 2.5 mm² FLR (or 4.0 mm² FLR for 3-position variants). It features Coding A keying option and mates with the 1-968977-9 tab housing. The AMP MCP (Multiple Contact Point) connector system provides high reliability with redundant contact points and protected contact springs, making it ideal for powertrain systems, safety and security systems, body and chassis systems, and driver information applications in motor vehicles.
