DESCRIPTION
The 1969442-3 is a dual row right angle header connector designed for the Economy Power 2.5 (EP 2.5) crimp connector system, providing compact interconnection for densely packed printed circuit boards. This header features a 2.5 mm (0.098") centerline pitch and is available in multiple position configurations (8 to 40 positions) with Glow Wire Test compliance per IEC/EN 60335-1 and UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The connector accommodates wire sizes from 0.13 to 0.56 mm² (26 to 20 AWG) and operates across a temperature range of -55 °C to +105 °C with a voltage rating of 250 VAC and maximum current rating of 4.2 A per single row. The housing is constructed from UL 94 V-0 rated nylon with copper alloy tin-plated contacts, asymmetrical terminal design for correct orientation, and optional low insertion force (LIF) terminals that reduce insertion force by approximately 60% compared to standard sockets.
