DESCRIPTION

20016619-00 is a piezoresistive MEMS crash test accelerometer from the Model 1201 & 1201F series, designed for demanding automotive safety testing applications. The accelerometer features a full-bridge configuration with nominal 4000O impedance, offering quick warm-up time of less than 10 seconds and minimal drift. It is available in measurement ranges from ±50g to ±2000g with flat-amplitude frequency response up to 6000Hz for higher ranges, and complies with SAE-J211 standards. The sensor is housed in a rugged anodized aluminum case weighing 2.0 grams (without cable) and features internal gas damping for outstanding shock survivability up to 10000g. Common applications include crush zone testing in automotive crash test environments where reliable DC response and high shock tolerance are critical.
