DESCRIPTION

208714-2 is a metal-shell circular connector plug with an integrated TETRASEALS ring designed to provide splash-proof sealing between mating metal shells in commercial signal and power applications. The plug features a zinc alloy metal shell with nickel plating, a thermoplastic housing rated UL 94V-0, and a fluorocarbon tetraseal seal that is compressed against the inside diameter of the mating receptacle shell when connected. The connector accommodates Multimate socket contacts in a 14-7 arrangement with a maximum wire insulation diameter of 0.100 inches (2.54 mm). This design is ideal for harsh environments requiring environmental protection and reliable electrical connections in industrial and commercial equipment.
