DESCRIPTION

215460-8 is a female-on-board side entry connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch connector family, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. This 8-position connector features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact spacing with tin-plated contacts and a unique contact spring system that provides fretting corrosion resistance through gas-tight connections. The side entry design allows for right-angle through-hole mounting configurations. It mates with male connectors including 215083, 338095+338096, 338095+338097, 215464, and 338728. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
