DESCRIPTION

2170620-1 is an XFP sealable cage assembly designed for high-speed signal applications in pluggable I/O systems. This single-port cage assembly features a maximum data rate of 10 Gb/s, with a copper alloy cage construction and tin plating, along with an aluminum primary body material and anodized black blade-style heat sink. The housing is made from Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with gold-plated contact mating areas, and it utilizes through-hole press-fit termination with 2.05 mm post and tail length. Operating within a temperature range of -10°C to 70°C and featuring an elastomeric gasket for EMI containment, this cage assembly is ideal for telecommunications and networking equipment requiring reliable high-speed data transmission.
