DESCRIPTION

2170746-2 is a 1x4 QSFP28/56 and zQSFP+ cage connector designed for high-speed data transmission applications. It features EMI spring suppression for superior signal integrity and electromagnetic interference protection, supporting data transfer rates of 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4. The connector is configured for through-bezel mounting and includes integrated heatsinks to provide enhanced thermal management and cooling performance. It supports single, dual, and quad channel implementations with backwards compatibility to QSFP+ cables and transceivers, enabling seamless upgrades from 10 Gbps to 28 Gbps and 56 Gbps systems. This cage is commonly used in network switches, servers, routers, and wireless base stations for 50, 100, and 200 Gigabit Ethernet, 100 Gbps InfiniBand EDR, and 128G Fibre Channel applications.
