DESCRIPTION

The 2173047-4 is a 96-pin female connector conforming to DIN 41612 standard, designed for reliable PCB board interconnection. It features a glass-filled thermoplastic housing with copper alloy contacts plated to Performance Level 2 per DIN 41612, with tin-over-nickel plating on soldering areas. The connector accommodates PCB board thicknesses of 2.4 to 3.2 mm and includes kinked solder posts suitable for 1.0 mm nominal PCB holes, enabling secure mechanical and electrical connections. The 31 × 2.54 mm pitch arrangement (78.74 mm total length) and compact 10.6 mm height make it ideal for high-density applications in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and modular instrumentation where space efficiency and signal integrity are essential.
