DESCRIPTION
The 2299501-1 is a blue-colored Wire Grip twist splice connector designed for insulated electrical terminations in residential and commercial applications. It accommodates wire gauges from 22 to 14 AWG, with a minimum wire combination of 2 #22 wires and a maximum combination of 3 #16 wires, enabling flexible multi-wire splicing into a single termination point. The connector features a tool-less twist grip termination mechanism with a live-action square spring that draws wires deep into the spring for a safe, positive grip. Constructed from UL94V-2 flame-retardant thermoplastic material, it is rated up to 600 volts for building wiring applications and operates reliably at temperatures up to 105°C. This connector is color-coded to industry standards and is designed for copper-copper wire connections, making it ideal for lighting installation, residential building wiring, and general building equipment applications.
