DESCRIPTION

2342838-1 is an anti-vandal piezo switch from the TE Connectivity AVP Series, designed for rugged applications requiring high durability and corrosion resistance. This switch features a 16mm aluminum bushing with a high-flat button type and non-illuminated design, offering momentary actuation with a minimum pulse of 200ms. It is rated for 5-24VDC/1A and 5-24VAC/1A with a contact resistance of 1O maximum and an operating life of up to 50 million cycles. The IP68 sealed construction uses silicone and epoxy sealing materials, and includes 26AWG wire leads with 500mm length and a 2.54mm 2x3 connector. Common applications include industrial control products, communication equipment, and medical equipment where vandal-resistant and reliable switching is required.
