DESCRIPTION

2342842-3 is an anti-vandal illuminated piezo switch from the TE Connectivity AVP Series, designed for demanding industrial, communication, and medical equipment applications. This switch features a 22mm aluminum (black) bushing with a concave button type and RGB LED ring illumination, providing both visual feedback and a rugged, vandal-resistant design. It is rated IP68 for superior sealing using silicone and epoxy materials, with a contact rating of 5-24VDC/1A and 5-24VAC/1A, and contact resistance of 1O maximum. The momentary actuation type with a minimum pulse of 200ms ensures reliable operation over an impressive 50 million cycle operating life. With 500mm long 26AWG wire leads and a 2.54mm 1x6 connector, this switch offers convenient installation in control panels and equipment requiring high durability and corrosion resistance.
