DESCRIPTION

2357514-1 is a 2X4 zSFP+ stacked belly-to-belly receptacle assembly designed for high-speed optical transceiver interconnect applications. The assembly features a stainless steel cage, LCP connector housing rated UL 94V-0, copper alloy contacts with gold plating (0.76 µm min) at the mating interface and matte tin plating (1.25 µm min) at the PCB interface. EMI springs are constructed from phosphor bronze with tin over nickel plating for effective electromagnetic interference shielding. The connector supports PCB minimum thickness of 1.5 mm for single-side mounting and 3 mm for belly-to-belly configurations, with a 14.25 mm port-to-port pitch. This no-lightpipe airflow-enhanced design is ideal for networking equipment, data center switches, and telecommunications systems requiring high-density SFP+ connectivity.
