DESCRIPTION

2-5175887-1 is a CHAMP 050-2 receptacle connector assembly designed for D-shaped connector applications with 14 positions arranged in 2 rows. The connector features a full metal shell with nickel plating on both the shield and shell, steel shield material, and a standard connector profile in black. It is configured for vertical panel mount installation on printed circuit boards with a centerline pitch of 1.27 mm (0.05 in) and includes bail lock mating retention for secure connections. The termination posts are tin-plated with dimensions of 0.32 mm thickness and 3.1 mm length, mounted through 2.8 mm diameter holes with recommended panel thickness of 2.01 mm and PCB thickness of 1.6 mm. This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust D-shaped interconnections in industrial and electronic equipment where reliable signal transmission and mechanical stability are essential.
