DESCRIPTION

2-5499206-2 is an AMP-LATCH Universal Header designed for wire-to-board ribbon cable connections. This 14-position, 2-row vertical connector features a 2.54 mm centerline pitch and through-hole solder termination for secure PCB mounting. The header includes gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with a maximum current rating of 1 A, operating voltage of 250 VAC, and insulation resistance of 5000 MO. It operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 105°C and features an ejection latch mating retention system with dual polarizing bar alignment. This connector is ideal for signal applications in electronic equipment requiring reliable ribbon cable interconnections.
