DESCRIPTION
292250-5 is a through-hole (T/H) box-type header connector designed for horizontal mounting with kinked legs and tin plating, part of TE Connectivity's AMP CT 2.0 mm pitch connector series. This miniature wire-to-board interconnect solution features a box housing that provides front and back walls for polarization, with kinked legs that secure the connector to the PCB during assembly and operation. The connector supports multiple position configurations (2 to 15 positions) and operates at 125 V AC with current ratings up to 4 A at 22 AWG, 2.5 A at 26 AWG, and 1.5 A at 28 AWG. The product is compatible with both Mass Termination (MT) and crimp contact systems, offering flexibility in harness assembly methods. Common applications include digital data networks, industrial control systems, and consumer electronics where reliable miniature interconnections are required.
