DESCRIPTION

322824 is a Solistrand heat resistant Style-C non-insulation support butt splice designed for high temperature electrical connections. This splice accommodates 16-14 AWG wire sizes (2,050-5,180 circular mils / 1.04-2.62 mm²) and features a copper body with nickel plating per QQ-N-290 for durability in extreme environments. The splice has a maximum length of 0.529 inches (13.44 mm), minimum inner diameter of 0.085 inches (2.16 mm), and maximum outer diameter of 0.165 inches (4.19 mm), with a material thickness of 0.033 inches (0.84 mm). Rated for temperatures up to 650°F (343°C), this splice is ideal for applications requiring reliable electrical connections in high heat environments such as aerospace, industrial equipment, and automotive systems where vibration, corrosion, and flash-over resistance at elevated temperatures are critical.
