DESCRIPTION

323682 is a pre-insulated PIDG (Pre-Insulated Diamond Grip) ring tongue terminal designed for reliable solderless wire termination. The terminal features a tin-plated copper body with a copper sleeve and nylon insulation sleeve fitted over the terminal barrel, providing high dielectric strength and corrosion resistance. The serration or dimple feature inside the terminal barrel ensures exceptional barrel contact and tensile strength. These terminals are color-coded by wire size for easy identification and feature funnel entry for easy wire insertion during high-speed production. Common applications include control circuits and power wiring where reliable, uniform terminations are required, with UL, CSA, and Military approvals ensuring compliance with industry standards.
