DESCRIPTION

350557-1 is a pre-tin plated brass socket contact in strip form, part of the Soft Shell Pin and Socket Connector series from TE Connectivity. This contact is designed to accommodate stacked wire configurations, supporting either two 18 AWG wires or one 18 AWG wire combined with another, with a maximum insulation diameter of 0.115 inches (2.92 mm stacked). The contact features brass construction with a pre-tin finish for reliable electrical connections and corrosion resistance. It is compatible with HDM applicator part number 687898-1 and hand tool 91504-1 for termination. These contacts are commonly used in wire-to-board power circuit applications, particularly in home appliances and gas appliances where reliable power connections are essential.
