DESCRIPTION

The 4-87631-1 is an AMPMODU Mod IV receptacle housing assembly designed for wire-to-board interconnection applications. This 10-position single-row housing features a bonded strain relief/pull tab and detent latching mechanism, with dimensions of 0.500 inches [12.70 mm] length, 0.200 inches [5.08 mm] width, and 0.200 inches [5.08 mm] height. The housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic material rated 94V-0 and accommodates 32-20 AWG [0.03-0.6 mm²] discrete wire terminations with dual cantilever contact beams and built-in anti-overstress features. The assembly mates with 0.025 inch [0.64 mm] square or round posts on 0.100 inch [2.54 mm] centerlines and supports a contact current rating of 3 amperes with a maximum termination resistance of 12 milliohms for gold-plated contacts. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable wire-to-board connections with integrated strain relief and polarization features, and is RoHS compliant.
