DESCRIPTION

499206-8 is an AMP-LATCH universal ejection pin header designed for ribbon cable interconnect applications. This 34-position header features a vertical PCB mounting orientation with a standard profile and 2.54 × 2.54 mm centerline matrix spacing. The connector includes gold-plated mating contacts (30 microinches), tin-lead solder tail plating, and square contact shape with preloaded contacts. Key features include a 4-sided housing style with ejection latches, mating connector lock, and dual polarizing bar alignment. The thermoplastic glass-filled housing is UL 94V-0 rated and wave solder capable up to 265°C, making it suitable for various electronic assembly processes requiring reliable ribbon cable connections.
