DESCRIPTION

5-103080-2 is an AMPMODU double-row vertical header designed for the AMPMODU 0.025 inch square interconnection system with 0.100 inch centerline spacing. This 4-position header features copper alloy posts plated with gold flash over palladium-nickel on mating surfaces and tin plate on solder rails, with entire post underplated 0.000050 inch nickel. The housing is constructed from black thermoplastic rated 94V-0, and the header accommodates a 0.055 inch minimum thick PC board with recommended hole layout dimensions of 0.520 inches (A dimension) and 0.440 inches (B dimension). The connector delivers reliable electrical performance with 5,000 megohms minimum insulation resistance, 1,000 V rms dielectric withstanding voltage, and supports 1 ampere maximum current per contact over an operating temperature range of -65°C to +105°C. This header is commonly used in modular interconnection applications requiring precision contacts with burr-free lead-in and double cantilever beam receptacle features for tolerant mating.
