DESCRIPTION

5-1971875-7 is a high-temperature POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector cap housing designed for reliable power and signal connectivity in demanding applications. This panel-mount connector features a 3×5 configuration with 15 total positions and a 6.0 mm centerline pitch, supporting a maximum current rating of up to 12 amps and voltage rating of 600 VAC/VDC. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material meeting glow wire test requirements per IEC 60335-1 (750°C no flame), with tin-plated copper alloy contacts rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to 105°C. The connector incorporates three enhanced locking methods—cap and plug latch together, CPA (Connector Position Assurance) device locks the cap and plug, and TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) device ensures terminals remain fully seated—providing superior reliability and secure connections. This product is ideal for high-performance power and signal applications requiring robust mechanical and electrical performance in industrial and appliance environments.
