DESCRIPTION

5223955-2 is a vertical power connector receptacle designed for board-to-board power distribution applications. This connector features 3 circuit positions with a standard power rating of 10 Amps per contact, utilizing industry-proven Universal Power Module (UPM) style contacts. The housing is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic rated UL 94V-0, with contacts featuring 30 microinches gold over 50 microinches nickel plating on mating surfaces for high reliability. This RoHS-compliant connector is suitable for distributed DC power applications, modular hot-swappable power supplies, and telecommunications equipment where reliable power interconnection is required.
