DESCRIPTION

52956 is a spring spade terminal with Plasti-Grip insulation designed for secure wire connections in electrical applications. The terminal accommodates 16-14 AWG solid or stranded wire and features a brass body with PVC blue sleeve for durability and insulation. Key technical specifications include a voltage rating of 600V maximum (1000V for fixture or sign applications), a circular mil area of 1.04-2.62 mm² (2,050-5,180 mils), and a tongue material thickness of 0.79±0.05 mm. The terminal body measures 22.15 mm (0.872 inches) in length with a maximum "E" dimension of 18.95 mm (0.746 inches), and is finished with tin plating per ASTM B545. This terminal is commonly used in electrical wiring, control panels, and appliance connections where reliable, insulated spade connections are required.
