DESCRIPTION

The 554725-4 is an inner ferrule component for the CHAMP Shielded Cable Connector Kit system, specifically designed for receptacle connectors with a 0.400 inch (10.16 mm) inside diameter. This ferrule is constructed from copper alloy and is part of the CHAMP Interconnection System's cable assembly solution, which supports both B-slot and E-slot wire terminations for 24 AWG to 28 AWG wire gauges. The ferrule features an insulation diameter maximum of 0.045 inches (1.14 mm) and works in conjunction with the shielded connector assembly that includes bright nickel plated carbon steel shielding and flame retardant nylon strain relief. This component is ideal for applications requiring reliable EMI shielding and secure cable termination in miniature ribbon connector systems with 0.065 inch centerline spacing.
