DESCRIPTION

The 554923-2 is a shielded CHAMP right-angle PCB connector designed for board-locking applications with integrated grounding capability. This 24-position connector features a screw-lock hardware type with 6-32 screw size and operates in a standard profile configuration. The connector housing is constructed from black polyester, with a bright nickel-plated receptacle shield over copper-plated die casting, and selectively plated gold terminals over nickel-plated high-strength copper alloy with tin-plated tails. Key dimensional specifications include a panel thickness of 0.320 ± 0.015 inches (8.13 ± 0.38 mm) and a connector depth of 0.157 ± 0.015 inches (3.99 ± 0.38 mm). This connector is commonly used in computer module applications and industrial interconnection systems where shielding and reliable board mounting are essential.
