DESCRIPTION

The 5645169-2 is a 49-position Standard Edge II connector assembly designed for board-to-board connections via a printed circuit board edge. It is constructed with a black, glass-filled polyester housing and phosphor bronze contacts for durability. The contacts are plated with a minimum of 0.00076mm of gold in the contact area over a nickel underplate, while the solder posts have a matte tin finish. This connector's card slot accepts a PCB thickness from 1.37mm to 1.78mm and includes board retention features for secure seating on 1.57mm thick boards. It is a through-hole component ideal for applications requiring a reliable card edge interface.
