DESCRIPTION

5745079-4 is an HD-20 all-plastic straight posted subminiature D connector receptacle designed for high-density interconnect applications. This receptacle features 50 contact positions with fixed female screwlocks for secure mating, and is available with contact finish plating code A (phosphor bronze with .000030 inch gold on mating end and tin on termination end, with .000050 inch minimum nickel underplate). The connector has a shell size of 5 with overall dimensions of 2.643 inches (67.13 mm) length and 2.406 inches (61.11 mm) width, and supports post lengths of .125 inches (3.18 mm) or .170 inches (4.32 mm) depending on PCB thickness requirements. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, reliable interconnections in electronic equipment where space is limited and high contact density is needed.
