DESCRIPTION

The 5745185-1 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-type receptacle connector manufactured by TE Connectivity, featuring 15 contact positions in a straight posted configuration. This connector is designed for PCB mounting with .120 inch (3.05 mm) diameter mounting holes and is available with contact finish plating code A (phosphor bronze with .000030 inch gold on mating end, tin on termination end, and .000050 inch minimum nickel underplate). The connector has shell size 2 dimensions of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm) length and 1.312 inches (33.33 mm) width, with a post length of .125 inches (3.18 mm) recommended for PCB thickness of .062–.093 inches (1.58–2.36 mm). This receptacle is preloaded with size 20 DF posted socket contacts and is commonly used in applications requiring reliable, compact interconnections in instrumentation, data acquisition, and industrial control systems where space constraints and high-density contact arrangements are essential.
