DESCRIPTION

5747959-1 is an HDP-20 shielding hardware enclosure kit receptacle connector designed for D-subminiature cable assemblies. This Shell Size 5 receptacle accommodates 50 contact positions and features a steel tin-plated connector shell with a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black insert. The connector supports size 20 DF socket contacts and is compatible with recommended cable outer diameters ranging from 0.338 to 0.562 inches, with a maximum inner cable bundle diameter of 0.450 inches. The assembly includes a PVC black enclosure, zinc alloy jackscrews, and steel tin-plated shielding hardware. This receptacle is ideal for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers, RAID storage arrays, and other applications requiring robust, shielded D-subminiature connectivity with high contact density.
