DESCRIPTION

60284-2 is a printed circuit board receptacle designed to accept 0.250 x 0.205 inch FASTON tab terminals. Manufactured from tin-plated brass with a stock thickness of 0.016 inch, this receptacle is engineered for reliable wire-to-board and tab-to-board connections on PCBs. The receptacle features dimensions of 0.295 inches (A) and 0.480 inches (L), providing a compact footprint suitable for high-speed automatic insertion equipment. This product enables economical retrofitting and field replacement of connections without requiring tools, and is compatible with standard PCB insertion machinery for wave soldering applications. The receptacle is ideal for control boards, switches, and other applications requiring secure, reusable electrical connections on printed circuit boards.
